It was an examplary feat of preparation, tenacity and battle tactics.
It was hard won against fearful odds.
This singular victory was Europe’s bloodiest battle for 400 years before the Battle of Waterloo.
Its celebrations are therefore of proud Victory, but also of respectful Remembrance.
In a full week-end of celebration, two grandiose shoots.
Each will be in two of the most prestigious locations and will be organised by the Fraternity of Saint George.
Against the backdrop of the world’s most historic Castle, the Great Park of Windsor and
in the world’s oldest archery ground, the Artillery Garden of the HAC.
Both events will have key presentations made on the Battle.
